Dear Linda,

As you may know, your school is one of 550 Northern Ohio area schools participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients program. Parma Community Pearl Rd Elementary School raised the outstanding amount of $2,753.22! We would like to share our deep appreciation for your generosity and thoughtfulness to local blood cancer patients and their families.

The money raised by your school community supports area patient services and funds lifesaving research. Thanks to wonderful schools like yours, there is a 91% survival rate for the most common form of childhood leukemia and a survival rate of 95.5% for childhood Hodgkin lymphoma. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Leah Walden, who was your school's Pennies for Patients coordinator. The initiative and hard work of coordinators like Leah are crucial to the program's success. Their commitment to helping others has shown your students that their actions can make a difference in other people's lives.

We cannot thank you, your coordinator, and your entire school community enough for your amazing participation with Pennies for Patients. We feel lucky to have worked with your school and know that you must also feel lucky to have such a wonderful school community.

On behalf of our patients and their families, thank you for your support. Please share our appreciation and praise with your staff and students. We look forward to working with you next year.

Sincerely,
Erin Zaranec
