Each year, the Cleveland Institute of Art hosts the Scholastic Art & Writing Competition, recognizing the creative achievements of local students in grades 7-12. Local professional artists, art educators, writers, and writing educators view the exhibit and award prizes, medals and scholarship awards to select pieces from nearly 3,000 entries!

Congratulations to Kahlel Cason, a 10th grade student at Constellation Schools: Parma Community High! He was awarded Honorable Mention for his art: The Concrete Jungle - Drawing & Illustration - Educator: Michelle Fredriksen.
